Quantity Details

Please note that UrbanChakki offers the customers a wide variety of grains to choose from and initiates the grinding process only after an order is placed. Thus, the customer ends up choosing a quantity of grains and not the atta. There may be 5% to 7% quantity losses due to the grinding process at the chakki (flour mill) which are unavoidable. The quantity of the final product (atta) delivered to the customer may vary by certain amounts.

Quality Details

We have partnered with the Chakki-walas(Individual Flour Mill Owners) to outsource the grinding process. We have standardized the quality parameters for them and try our level best to maintain the same. However, since it is not an automated process or a UrbanChakki owned grinding unit like a factory or mill, we cannot guarantee exactly the same quality every time. It may vary due to the manual processing by the individual chakki walah(Individual Flour Mill Owner) whoever the order is routed to. We will be collecting continuous feedback from the customers and will take necessary actions to try to keep the quality at par.

Delivery Details

We will try to deliver all the items in an order in a maximum time of 3 week from the date and time of order placement. The minimum time of delivery will be as short as possible. However, we will try our best to ensure faster deliveries. However, it may sometimes vary by up to 24 Hrs due to unavoidable circumstances like but not limited to stock shortage, unrest in weather, bad transport facilities in your vicinity, an unusually high number of orders, unavailability of the partner Chakki-walah (UrbanChakki approved flour mill owner).

The delivery will be managed by UrbanChakki delivery persons only. We have not tied up with any third party delivery service. We have also not contracted any third party people to manage our delivery. Only UrbanChakki approved UrbanChakki People will be managing the deliveries. This may however change in the future. Any changes in the delivery process will be updated in these terms and conditions.

Packaging

The packaging of the atta will be done in a way that it is leak proof and the atta is not exposed to air. The packaging will be done in a way that it is leak proof and the atta is not exposed to air.

Cancellation of Orders

You can cancel your order before we grind the grains of your order, from your account or by calling our customer service. In such a case we will refund any payments already made by you for the order. Any fraudulent transaction by customers or any transaction which defies the terms & conditions of the website can be canceled at our sole discretion.

Return & Refund

You shall be entitled to return the product in the following cases :

  1. Wrong Order being delivered.
  2. Grains are spoilt or damaged or deteriorated in quality.
  3. The packaging has been tampered or damaged or spilled at the time of delivery.

We will take the returned product back with us and issue a credit note for the value of the return products which will be credited to your account on the site. This can be used to pay your subsequent shopping bills.

Your acceptance of these terms By using this Site, you signify your acceptance of this policy and terms of service. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
